Workspace Performance Assessment

  • 30 Days

About

If you are planning changes to your workspace, our performance audit is an ideal approach to set a clear briefing for management or design teams. We can provide a rapid first pass with around 10 staff or expand further to capture more data. The assessment delivers a structured user centred evaluation to identify key areas for improvement through a refurbishment or relocation. All areas that can affect comfort, health, safety and performance will be covered including, seating, desking, lighting, air handling, noise and interior design. WHY USE SATISFACTION TO MEASURE WORKSPACE PERFORMANCE • Key to understanding usability through efficiency and effectiveness. • Easy to apply across a range of situations. • Engages staff directly with the design process. • Links Comfort, Health, Performance and Well-Being to Investment Objectives. METHOD • Face-to-face, semi structured interviews with staff in your current workspace. • Data analysed against good practice ergonomics to identify key elements working against staff performance. SCOPE The process uncovers key issues affecting staff performance, to determine a practical action plan for refurbishment within your budget constraints. Up to 10 staff will be interviewed to participate in the performance audit, adding credibility to the results. STANDARDS Relevant ergonomics standards and applicable health and safety legislation will be referenced, ensuring recommendations are robust and compliant. DELIVERABLE The output is a PDF report with rich text descriptions and satisfaction ratings summarising possible actions to enhance comfort, performance, wellbeing and productivity. The process offers an excellent foundation for projects of any scale, helping you target available funds wisely through a business case. The work can be turned around rapidly, often within four weeks depending on HAM workload and your staff availability.
